Excellent Display from U13s

The U13s produced their best performance of the season this morning away at top of the table Battyeford.

The boys played with passion and desire and gave their opponents a real scare in an entertaining game that was played in the first downpour of the season.

The scoreline doesn't reflect the nature of the game and the boys were unlucky not to score more goals. At the back they showed determination to keep the ball out and threw themselves in front of several shots.

Everyone of the boys gave their all and it was a real team effort. They harried the opposition and hunted in packs to try to win the ball back when not in possession. When we had the ball we played some good passing football and caused problems for the opposition all game.

If the boys can show this effort and determination going forward then they can look forward to a great last half of the season.

All of the boys were excellent and they all deservedly get a man of the match award for their individual and team effort.
