Good Display from U9s

The Under 9s returned to action after the Easter break this morning in a very enjoyable game away at Uperthong.

In unusually pleasant weather both teams put on a display of good football that was played in the best of spirits.

Georgio had a great game in goal and pulled off some fantastic saves and fully deserved to be awarded the man of the match award. At the back Shay and Euan defended well and both of them broke forward with great effect when they had chance to help to turn defence into attack.

The midfield duo of Will and Taylor played really well. Taylor played several great passes to set up attacks and got back to defend when necessary. Will played with loads of energy and skill and scored a good goal.

Up front Jude showed great skill on the ball and scored 2 excellent goals, his second one in particular was very good. Ted fitted in well on his debut and scored a goal to cap a great first game for the club.

All off the boys played really well and it was great to see them come off the pitch with big smiles at the end of the match.
